"Found this place while traveling down to Smith Mountain Lake, one of the best side stops we possibly could have found. $25 for an hour including decent rental gear for a great time going down the carpets. Takes a minute to get used to the added friction but the water misters help you glide and once you get up to speed the edge control has a very similar feel to real snow for light carves"

"Decided to go here with my family and 4 others to celebrate my son's birthday. They all loved it! It is a pretty fun place to go and spend a couple of hours. We chose tubing, snowboarding and skiing. Staff was great and very helpful. Will come again."

"Tried out the LU Snowflex with the family and everyone had a great time! Lodge is absolutely beautiful and overlooks Lynchburg. We went around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy. The tubing slope wasn’t fast or rough. The workers said it does get fast enough to where the pads at the ends are used. As we were leaving, there was a good wait for people checking in( Saturday - early evening), so come early for no lines!..."

"In January took a beginner snowboard lesson with Noah. Price for a private lesson is very reasonable. Snowflex was the perfect place to try out my new equipment, snowboard, boots, bindings and protective gear. Noah was very patient with this senior citizen as he methodically improved my basic skill and confidence level. By the end of the lesson I was ready to hit the slopes and ventured to Wintergreen for the next two days. Had great success on real snow..."

"Unique and fun experience "skiing." The tubing was really fun (be sure to ask the attendant at the bottom of the hill for a clip so two tubes can go down together) and the highlight of our family's experience. The skiing /snowboarding is super weird because it is Velcro that is wet. Dress for the weather. My kids loved the sledding hill and were soaked because of the sprinklers that keep the Velcro wet. I enjoy skiing but didn't love..."

"Liberty Mountain Snowflex was a great place to introduce skiing to our kids who’ve never been. We did lessons with Maddie who was super patient and kind! She got the kids super comfortable getting in and out of the skis, turning left and right and stopping. I do wish the center had something in between the beginner slope and giant hill our back so they could get a better feel for a higher range but honestly it’s a great place..."
